- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe spoken content into clear, accurate, and grammatically correct text.
- Format and proofread transcripts according to specific client templates and industry standards.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security while handling sensitive medical or legal information.
- Meet daily and weekly production quotas with 99% accuracy or higher.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding complex files or technical issues.
- Stay updated on the latest transcription software and keyboard shortcuts to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Proficient typing speed of 60+ words per minute (WPM).
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and English language skills.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
- Basic knowledge of medical or legal terminology is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
