Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into written text with high accuracy.
- Proofread and edit transcriptions for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax errors.
- Adhere to specific formatting guidelines and style sheets provided by the client.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and accuracy targets.
- Use transcription software and foot pedals efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with the quality assurance team regarding any unclear audio.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Transcriptionist or similar role.
- Exceptional listening skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Fast and accurate typing speed (minimum 60-70 WPM).
- Strong command of the English language and grammar.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word and transcription software.
