Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical/legal/audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
- Format documents according to client specifications and style guides
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Research and clarify unclear terminology using medical/legal references
- Utilize transcription software and digital tools efficiently
- Communicate proactively with team leads for quality assurance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in typing 75+ WPM with exceptional accuracy
- Familiarity with medical terminology (BLS/AHLTA preferred)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Strong command of English grammar and punctuation
- Ability to manage deadlines independently in remote setting
- Experience with ExpressScribe or equivalent transcription software
- US citizenship or valid work authorization required
