- Accurately transcribe audio/video recordings across medical, legal, and general business domains
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
- Format documents according to client specifications and style guides
- Utilize specialized transcription software and foot pedals efficiently
- Research and resolve unclear terminology through industry resources
- Meet daily/weekly productivity targets with 98%+ accuracy
- Collaborate with editors to refine complex transcripts
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven accuracy rate of 98%+ in timed transcription tests
- Familiarity with medical terminology (BOS certification preferred)
- Advanced typing speed (85+ WPM) with exceptional grammar skills
- Proficiency in ExpressScribe or equivalent transcription software
- High-speed reliable internet connection and quiet home office
