Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy across medical, legal, and general business domains
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
- Utilize advanced editing software to enhance audio clarity and correct errors
- Meet daily productivity quotas while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Format documents according to client-specific style guides and requirements
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve discrepancies
- Participate in ongoing training for new industry terminology and software updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience with verifiable references
- Proficiency in ExpressScribe, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, or equivalent software
- Exceptional typing speed (80+ WPM) with 95% accuracy
- Familiarity with medical terminology (BOS certification preferred)
- High-speed internet connection and noise-free home office environment
- Ability to manage competing deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and style conventions
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
