- Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe speech into written text.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and formatting consistency.
- Adhere to specific style guides and client requirements.
- Manage file uploads and downloads securely via our cloud-based portal.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and accuracy targets.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding any audio quality issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum typing speed of 65 WPM with high accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar and spelling.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Previous transcription experience is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
