Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into text documents with high accuracy and speed.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and formatting consistency.
- Adhere to specific client guidelines, including the use of medical or legal terminology.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality standards.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of all sensitive client data.
- Use transcription software and hardware effectively to maximize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or certification in transcription is preferred.
- Proven typing speed of 60+ WPM with a high degree of accuracy (98%+).
- Native or near-native English proficiency with excellent grammar and spelling skills.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with medical or legal transcription is a plus but not mandatory.
