- Listen to audio files and transcribe verbatim text with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
- Adhere to specific style guides and client requirements for every document.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient and client information.
- Meet daily production quotas and adhere to deadlines without compromise.
- Utilize transcription software and technology effectively to optimize workflow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in transcription (medical or general) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional listening skills and attention to detail are mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and email.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office setup.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
