Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical dictations with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for all patient data
- Meet daily production quotas while maintaining quality standards
- Utilize advanced transcription software and digital tools
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammatical/medical accuracy
- Maintain secure file transfers and data confidentiality
- Adapt to specialty-specific terminology (cardiology, orthopedics, etc.)
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years medical transcription experience
- Credential: CMT (Certified Medical Transcriptionist) preferred
- Typing speed: 85+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Proficient in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated workspace
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Available for weekend/evening shifts as needed
