Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical/legal/audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
- Manage multiple client deadlines with exceptional time management skills
- Utilize advanced transcription software and digital research tools
- Format documents according to client specifications (e.g., AAMT, BOS)
- Communicate professionally with quality assurance teams for revisions
- Continuously improve transcription speed and accuracy through training
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience (medical/legal preferred)
- Proven typing speed of 85+ WPM with 98% accuracy
- Expert knowledge of medical terminology and/or legal jargon
- Proficiency in Express Scribe, Dragon, or similar transcription software
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and style guides
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
