Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe audio recordings across medical, legal, and business domains with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
- Utilize advanced transcription software and quality control tools
- Meet daily/weekly production deadlines while maintaining high-quality output
- Research and clarify specialized terminology through industry resources
- Format transcripts according to client specifications (MS Word, PDF, etc.)
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proven ability to transcribe 80+ words per minute with 98% accuracy
- Familiarity with medical/legal terminology or industry-specific jargon
- Proficiency in ExpressScribe, Dragon, or equivalent transcription software
- Exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
