Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for hardware, software, and network systems via remote channels
- Monitor and maintain server infrastructure during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 8AM-8PM)
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Document incident reports, resolutions, and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated technical issues
- Proactively optimize system performance and recommend improvements
- Onboard new users and conduct technical training sessions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong diagnostic skills for hardware/software troubleshooting
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira) preferred
- Must reside in Chicago metropolitan area for timezone alignment
