Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of AI/ML systems specifically targeting the 2026 product release cycle and beyond.
- Define technical standards and best practices for machine learning operations (MLOps) to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to translate complex business requirements into robust, future-proof technical solutions.
- Conduct deep research into emerging AI technologies and evaluate their viability for integration into our core stack.
- Mentor a team of junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Optimize existing models for inference speed, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Drive the strategic vision for our AI infrastructure, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science, with at least 3 years in a senior architectural or lead role.
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and modern Hugging Face libraries.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of delivering production-grade AI products from conception to deployment.
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, calculus, and probability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
