Responsibilities
- Design and implement resilient cloud architectures using Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead migration projects from on-premises to public cloud environments
- Optimize cloud costs and performance for Fortune 500 clients
- Collaborate with DevOps and security teams on infrastructure-as-code solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Document technical specifications and runbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering (AWS/GCP/Azure certified)
- Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation
- Strong programming skills (Python/Go/Bash)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud environments
- Ability to start within 1 week of offer
- San Diego residency required for timezone alignment
