Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP/Azure cloud architectures serving 10M+ users
- Lead migration strategies for legacy on-premise systems to cloud-native platforms
- Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cost and performance through continuous monitoring and automation
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct architecture reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to align technical solutions with business goals
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud architecture with 3+ years in remote-first environments
- Expertise in at least two major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong background in Kubernetes, serverless, and CI/CD pipelines
- Professional certifications (AWS Solutions Architect/GCP Professional Architect)
- Experience with infrastructure security frameworks (CIS, SOC2)
- Proven track record of leading complex cloud transformation projects
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders
