Responsibilities
- Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL): Gather and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Advanced Reporting: Design and develop dynamic dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide actionable recommendations.
- Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve specific data points and optimize database performance.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data processes and propose automated solutions to streamline workflows.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data models, methodologies, and reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (strongly required) and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Programming: Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation is a plus.
- Tools: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work Environment: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
