Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Data Pipelines: Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency ETL processes using cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP) to process real-time ticketing and fan engagement data.
- Big Data Management: Build and optimize data lakes and data warehouses to support complex analytics and reporting for stadium operations and event logistics.
- System Integration: Integrate disparate data sources, including CRM systems, point-of-sale terminals, and biometric access control systems, into a unified analytics platform.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor data pipeline health, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure 99.99% uptime during peak events.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data scientists and product managers to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to strict privacy regulations and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect, with a focus on large-scale data processing.
- Technologies: Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Redshift/Azure Synapse) is essential.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field; Master’s degree is a plus.
