This role offers 100% remote work with optional quarterly team meetups in downtown Detroit. You'll leverage our $10M innovation fund to experiment with emerging technologies while mentoring junior engineers through our mentorship program.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions
- Optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP with Terraform and CloudFormation
- Automate deployment processes and container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker
- Implement monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Lead cloud security initiatives including IAM policies and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment frequency and system reliability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
- Expertise in at least two major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Kubernetes certification (CKA/CKAD) or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
- Excellent communication skills with remote collaboration experience
