About the Role: This fully remote position requires 10-15 hours of overlap with Central Time (CT) for team collaboration. You'll work on cutting-edge AWS/GCP deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and security frameworks while mentoring junior engineers. Our culture values innovation, work-life balance, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Lead container orchestration projects using Kubernetes and Docker
- Develop monitoring and alerting systems with Prometheus and Grafana
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Ansible
- Conduct security hardening and compliance audits for cloud environments
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
- Expertise in AWS/GCP services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, etc.)
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Kubernetes certification (CKA/CKAD) or equivalent experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
