Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement scalable front-end and back-end features using React and Node.js.
- Code Optimization: Review and refactor existing codebases to improve performance, security, and maintainability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
- API Integration: Design and document RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services securely.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and conduct code reviews to uphold high engineering standards.
- Agile Process: Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and agile ceremonies to drive project delivery.
- Testing: Write unit and integration tests to ensure 100% code coverage for critical paths.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Frontend: Proficiency in React, Redux, TypeScript, and CSS frameworks (Tailwind/Bootstrap).
- Backend: Strong experience with Node.js, Express, or similar runtimes.
- Databases: Expert knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and experience with NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Cloud: Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda) or similar cloud providers.
- Tools: Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
