Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026+ technological horizons
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for emerging markets
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Present strategic futures to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D to translate foresight into tangible product roadmaps
- Drive adoption of agile innovation methodologies across the organization
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of launching successful futuristic products or services
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech trends
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to articulate complex futures
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and boards
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major innovation initiatives
- Certification in futures thinking or strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
