Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and prioritize emerging trends impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for organizational adaptation to disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Deliver executive-level trend briefings and scenario-planning workshops for C-suite clients
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on future-of-work and market evolution
- Design and implement innovation frameworks for R&D teams at partner organizations
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with Fortune 500 clients
- Build and maintain expert networks across academic, corporate, and government sectors
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futures conferences and industry forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience delivering to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (e.g., Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan)
- Proficiency in futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact analysis)
