Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive trends through 2026+ across tech, society, and markets
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints translating future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps and business strategies
- Establish foresight methodologies including trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology impact assessments
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed projections and risk assessments
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers for continuous intelligence gathering
- Drive organizational change initiatives embedding future-ready thinking into company culture and operations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D with proven 2026+ horizon planning experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Innovation Management, or related field
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Track record of launching at least two major innovations based on future trend analysis
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ published future outlooks or trend reports with measurable impact
