Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging trends with 3-5 year impact trajectories
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for C-suite clients across AI, biotech, and climate adaptation domains
- Facilitate scenario planning workshops with executive teams to build organizational resilience
- Author white papers and thought leadership positioning Horizon Labs as the authority on 2026 market shifts
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Translate complex foresight outputs into executable roadmaps for product and business development
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, futurism, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional facilitation skills for executive-level workshops and stakeholder alignment
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy (Harvard Business Review, etc.)
- MBA or advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology, or Systems Thinking preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic initiatives implemented from foresight work
