- Monitor and moderate real-time chat conversations across multiple platforms using AI-assisted tools
- Enforce community guidelines with precision while maintaining user engagement
- Resolve conflicts and de-escalate tense situations diplomatically
- Document incidents and provide actionable insights for platform improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on moderation policy updates
- Mentor junior moderators on best practices and cultural sensitivity
- Analyze chat patterns to identify emerging trends and potential risks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional chat moderation or community management experience
- Expertise in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
- Exceptional written communication with 70+ WPM typing speed
- Familiarity with moderation tools (ModSquad, Talkdesk, etc.)
- Deep understanding of digital platform policies (TOS, COPPA, GDPR)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Communications, or related field preferred
- Spanish/French bilingual certification a significant advantage
