Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting data, finding trends, and presenting findings to stakeholders. You will utilize advanced SQL queries and visualization tools to drive decision-making processes. Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that drive business growth.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create compelling data visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Database Management: Manage and optimize SQL databases, writing complex queries to support reporting needs and ad-hoc analysis.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data collection and reporting processes, proposing and implementing automated solutions.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to forecast market trends and assist in strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of proven experience in data analysis, preferably within the finance or tech sector.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with ETL processes.
- Visualization Tools: Strong command of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Programming: Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate data into business value.
- Self-Motivation: Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
