Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable software architectures for web and mobile applications using modern technologies.
- Lead code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring low latency and high availability for end-users.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues in production environments, implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions to the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a strong preference for remote work history.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Node.js or similar modern frameworks.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, database design (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud services (AWS or Azure).
- Strong proficiency in version control systems, specifically Git.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in distributed teams.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
