Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive SEO strategies, including on-page, off-page, and technical optimization, tailored to our target market.
- Technical Audits: Conduct thorough technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting site performance and search engine indexing.
- Keyword Research: Perform in-depth keyword research to identify high-value opportunities and optimize content accordingly.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) using Google Analytics and Search Console, providing detailed monthly reports to stakeholders.
- Content Collaboration: Partner with content creators to optimize landing pages, blog posts, and other digital assets for maximum SEO impact.
- Link Building: Manage and execute link-building campaigns to improve domain authority and organic search rankings.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in SEO, with a strong track record of improving organic search rankings.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress or Shopify.
- Tools: Advanced knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical teams.
- Local Knowledge: Understanding of the Long Beach and Southern California market landscape is a plus.
