Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture using Node.js and Python
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement DevOps best practices including containerization and infrastructure-as-code
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent the company at tech conferences
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with cloud-native applications
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend framework (Express, Django)
- AWS/Azure certification or equivalent hands-on experience with cloud services
- Proven track record of delivering production-ready code in remote environments
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with agile methodologies and remote collaboration tools (Jira, Slack)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
