Responsibilities
- Architect scalable microservices using Go/Kubernetes and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead agile sprints for high-impact SaaS features serving 500K+ users
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL/Redis) for 99.99% uptime
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and conduct rigorous code reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business needs into technical specs
- Champion DevOps best practices including IaC (Terraform) and monitoring
Qualifications
- 5+ years in backend development with Go/Python and cloud-native systems
- Expertise in distributed systems, message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and REST APIs
- Proven track record of delivering production-grade SaaS applications
- Strong problem-solving skills with algorithmic complexity understanding
- Experience leading technical design sessions and architectural reviews
- CI/CD proficiency (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent remote communication and documentation skills
