Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical/legal/business audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA/GDPR compliance
- Format documents according to client specifications and style guides
- Utilize digital tools (ExpressScribe, oTranscribe) for efficient workflow
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
- Research and resolve unfamiliar terminology/industry jargon
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional transcription experience
- Minimum 85 words-per-minute typing speed
- Familiarity with medical/legal terminology (certification preferred)
