Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with 2026 environmental targets
- Lead carbon footprint reduction initiatives across supply chains and operations
- Oversee ESG reporting and compliance with global sustainability frameworks (GRI, SASB)
- Drive circular economy projects including waste reduction and resource optimization
- Manage stakeholder engagement for sustainability initiatives including investors, employees, and communities
- Analyze environmental data using advanced analytics tools to identify improvement opportunities
- Coordinate cross-functional sustainability task forces and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field; MBA or Master's preferred
- Minimum 7 years of progressive sustainability management experience in corporate or NGO settings
- Expertise in ESG reporting frameworks and carbon accounting methodologies
- Proven track record of implementing successful sustainability programs with measurable impact
- Advanced data analysis skills with proficiency in sustainability software (e.g., SAP Sustainability, EcoVadis)
- Strong project management capabilities with experience leading cross-functional teams
- Deep knowledge of California environmental regulations and federal sustainability policies
- Certifications in sustainability (e.g., GRI, LEED) highly desirable
