Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical/legal audio recordings with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA/GDPR compliance
- Utilize specialized transcription software and digital tools
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, clarity, and formatting
- Meet daily production quotas while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
- Stay updated on industry terminology and documentation standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in 10-key typing and 70+ WPM typing speed
- Familiarity with medical/legal terminology and documentation
- Excellent listening comprehension and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Experience with ExpressScribe or equivalent software
