Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement scalable software solutions using modern technologies (React, Node.js, Python, etc.) with a focus on high performance and security.
- Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to maintain high code quality standards.
- Problem Solving: Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, and QA Engineers to deliver features on time.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, API specifications, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Optimization: Continuously optimize application performance, user experience, and database efficiency.
- Agile Leadership: Participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups) and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in a remote or distributed team environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#) and a solid understanding of web development (HTML, CSS, REST APIs).
- Tools: Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and demonstrate a strong ownership mentality in a remote setting.
