- Convert audio/video recordings into accurate, well-formatted transcripts with 98%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance for sensitive content
- Meet daily/weekly production targets while maintaining quality standards
- Utilize transcription software and foot pedal for efficient workflow
- Research and clarify complex terminology in specialized fields
- Format transcripts according to client specifications (MS Word, PDF, etc.)
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and clarity
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proficient with audio/video playback software and foot pedals
- Exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Ability to transcribe 80+ words per minute accurately
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Flexible availability to work 20-30 hours weekly
- Experience in legal/medical transcription preferred
