Responsibilities
- Convert audio recordings into accurate, formatted text documents using industry-standard transcription software.
- Proofread and edit transcripts meticulously to ensure high standards of grammar, punctuation, and flow.
- Adhere to strict client guidelines, style guides, and quality assurance protocols.
- Meet daily and weekly production targets to ensure timely delivery.
- Research and verify proper nouns, medical/legal terms, and industry-specific jargon.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security regarding all client materials.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or certification preferred.
- Proven typing speed of 60+ WPM with a high degree of accuracy (80%+).
- Excellent command of the English language, including spelling and grammar.
