Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation to future business landscapes
- Quantify future opportunity landscapes through data modeling and predictive analytics
- Present visionary roadmaps to executive stakeholders with compelling narrative frameworks
- Champion cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping 2026-ready solutions
- Establish foresight metrics to track strategic alignment with future-state goals
- Author thought leadership publications positioning company as future-vision authority
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field with 5+ years applied experience
- Proven track record in developing enterprise-level future-strategy roadmaps
- Mastery of horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, etc.)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities for complex future scenarios
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, biotech, etc.)
- Experience advising C-suite on future-proofing organizational structures
- Published thought leadership in futurist or innovation publications
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
