Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for 2026 societal and industry shifts
- Establish R&D partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Create predictive models for emerging technology adoption curves
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio allocation
- Author thought leadership on 2026 technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in scaling tech ventures to $100M+ ARR
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in strategic foresight, engineering, or business innovation
- Published research or patents in future technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Fluency in systems thinking and complex adaptive systems modeling
