Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech convergence (quantum, biotech, AI) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical, environmental, and socioeconomic shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps
- Author white papers and thought leadership for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for 2026+ challenges (e.g., AGI ethics, space economy)
- Monitor global signals (policy, patents, venture capital) to refine strategic priorities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futures research, or emerging technology consulting
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized systems
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Published thought leadership in tech or policy journals
- Experience advising Fortune 500 or global regulatory bodies
