Responsibilities
- Perform advanced data analysis: Utilize SQL, Python, and Excel to mine, clean, and interpret large datasets to uncover trends and insights.
- Develop visualizations: Create compelling dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to present findings to stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.
- Support decision-making: Collaborate with department heads to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend data-driven strategies.
- Ensure data integrity: Monitor data quality processes and implement solutions to resolve inconsistencies across various data sources.
- Automate reporting: Streamline reporting workflows to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency for the finance and operations teams.
- Document processes: Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines and analysis methodologies for team reference.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL (Advanced), Python or R, and experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data into simple, digestible insights for non-technical audiences.
- San Antonio Connection: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and willing to work remotely from San Antonio, TX.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
