Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe verbatim text with high accuracy.
- Format and proofread transcripts according to client specifications and style guides.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in audio, such as background noise or unclear speech.
- Manage multiple transcription projects within strict deadlines.
- Utilize specialized transcription software and equipment effectively.
- Adhere to confidentiality and privacy standards regarding sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional transcription experience (Medical or Legal preferred).
- Typing speed of at least 60 WPM.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transcription-specific software (e.g., Express Scribe, ZoomPlayer).
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Excellent listening and concentration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
