Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for federal agency systems via remote access and ticketing systems
- Monitor and maintain cybersecurity protocols including VPN access, endpoint protection, and network firewalls
- Document IT infrastructure changes and security incidents using standardized compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system updates and vulnerability assessments
- Train end-users on cybersecurity best practices and secure data handling procedures
- Assist in disaster recovery simulations and compliance audits
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
