Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical/legal/audio recordings with 99%+ accuracy using company-provided equipment
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive client information
- Utilize proprietary transcription software with real-time quality assurance tools
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Collaborate with editors to refine transcripts and resolve discrepancies
- Participate in ongoing training for new industry terminology and software updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience with verifiable references
- Minimum 85 WPM typing speed with 100% accuracy in timed tests
- Proficiency in medical/legal terminology and industry-specific formatting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (company provides all other equipment)
- Flexible schedule availability including occasional weekend/evening shifts
