Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for cutting-edge research
- Mentor innovation teams in future-proof methodologies and adaptive prototyping
- Oversee patent strategy for emerging intellectual property portfolios
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching future-focused tech products (2018-2025)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Europe, Asia)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future studies
