Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps incorporating AI, quantum computing, and Web3 paradigms
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop patent strategies for proprietary future-facing solutions
- Present strategic frameworks to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological adoption and ROI
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with quarterly ROI reviews
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-defining tech products (3+ examples)
- Expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, blockchain, AR/VR, or biotech
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Certification in emerging technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure specialties)
- Experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 100+ members
- Fluency in strategic frameworks (Blue Ocean, Lean Startup, TRIZ)
