- Mentor a team of 15+ engineers and researchers in prototyping futuristic solutions
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through investor pitches and grant applications
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures from concept to $100M+ valuation
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep network within Silicon Valley's venture capital and academic communities
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio of 3+ patented technologies or industry-shifting innovations
