Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including AI ethics, quantum algorithms, and neurotech integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Advocate for ethical frameworks in autonomous systems and human-machine symbiosis
- Partner with policy think tanks to shape regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Present strategic foresight findings to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Curate annual FutureTech Summit featuring global thought leaders and breakthrough demos
- Establish KPIs to measure technological adoption impact on society and industry
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Systems Engineering with 10+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic computing
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding from DARPA, NSF, or equivalent institutions
- Portfolio demonstrating commercialized technologies with 100K+ user impact
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
