Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and convert speech into written text with high accuracy.
- Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
- Adhere to specific client style guides and formatting requirements.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and quality assurance targets.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive client information.
- Communicate effectively with the quality assurance team regarding any unclear segments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM with a focus on accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar and vocabulary.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Previous transcription experience is a plus but not mandatory for the right candidate.
