- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality protocols
- Format transcriptions using EHR systems (Epic/Cerner experience preferred)
- Proofread and edit documents for clinical accuracy
- Maintain daily productivity quotas of 150+ lines per hour
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve unclear dictations
- Update patient records with real-time transcription data
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical transcription experience
- CMT (Certified Medical Transcriptionist) credential required
- Proficient in 65+ WPM typing speed with 98% accuracy
- Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Experience with EHR platforms and transcription software
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
