Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for enterprise systems, networks, and cloud infrastructure during overnight hours
- Monitor system health, security alerts, and incident queues using advanced monitoring tools
- Execute proactive maintenance tasks including patching, backups, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with global teams during critical incident escalations and major deployments
- Document technical procedures, create knowledge base articles, and contribute to process improvements
- Maintain compliance with IT security policies and industry regulations (SOX, HIPAA)
- Train and mentor junior support staff during shift overlaps
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise-level IT support experience with night shift or on-call rotations
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for network connectivity, authentication, and application issues
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) and monitoring platforms (SolarWinds, Datadog)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during off-hours
- Excellent written communication skills for incident documentation and cross-team collaboration
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications within first 6 months of employment
